Severe Violator Enforcement Program from OSHA effective as of June 18
OSHA's SVEP is focusing on employers that have willingly subjected their workers to worksite hazards a repeated number of times. As a more effective way of enforcing OSHA compliance, there will be an increased number of inspections. Those will be including mandatory follow up inspections with workplaces that share the same company name as places that have violated in the past and that may still have current hazards which need to be corrected.
With this new regulation now in effect, be sure to stay in compliance with help from Summit's extensive library regarding OSHA requirements!
